  1. That masterpiece 1914 Stutz Bearcat and ultra sexy ’70 DODGE Hemi Coronet share a direct engineering DNA from two very different automotive eras: extracting maximum horsepower using the engine as a high-performance air pump. The $207K auction price with premium was a darn good buy on that PLUM CRAZY HEMI R/T IMHO.

FYI-New NHTSA Part 573 recall #’s for this week according to mr. internet:

•26V-621, Sillantis is recalling 265,512 Ram ProMaster cargo vans, critical steering wiring harness defects causes sudden loss of vehicle control.
•Sillantis, 26V-623 recalling 16,385 model year 2026 Ram 1500 pickup trucks, tire pressure monitoring system fail causes no amber horseshoe light.
    • Volkswagen, 26V-630 recalling 22,524 ID.4 electric vehicles, catastrophic fire risk from misaligned high-voltage battery cell electrodes.
•Ford Motor Company, 26V-606 recalls 41,748 Expedition SUVs and Super Duty trucks, contaminated headlight LED chips causing sudden total night-driving visibility loss.
•Under 26V-605 Ford is recalling 11,405 model year 2026 Ranger pickup trucks, center dash displays loses power and blanks out the rearview backup camera among other things.
    • General Motors, 26V-612 recalling 29,347 Cadillac OPTIQ electric vehicles, faulty remote express-up power window software causes pinching and injury hazards.

Be advised the following Ohio ADAS related data comes from NHTSA’s Standing General Order 2021-01, released in September:

•A Tesla Model X had its Level 2 driver-assist system active when it struck and killed a motorcyclist in Moraine, Ohio.
•A high-profile Ohio wrongful death lawsuit alleging that a Tesla Model Y suddenly accelerated on its own into a concrete pillar, catching fire and killing a 72-year-old man, was quietly settled to avoid a public jury trial.
•The landmark case that sparked the FIRST federal investigation into automated driving, a Canton, Ohio resident became the first official Autopilot fatality in U.S. history when his Tesla drove underneath a tractor-trailer on a highway, evidently shearing the roof off from critical bumper mismatch thanks to dead law/nonexistant bumper safety standards.

I WOULD NEVER EVER USE ADAS IN OHIO! Under the notorious Ohio government ambulance chaser speed trap racket, now with obvious USDOT loophole lawyer wink-wink consent in front of NHTSA’s and the NTSB’s very own lying eyes, combining the retarded FHWA NEPA Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) political gift loopholapaloozas with ODOT’s blatant intentional exclusion of EVERY USDOT MUTCD ADAS/AV Part 5 safety standards from the OMUTCD traffic manual, it sure looks like the State of Ohio and Ohio Department of Transpprtation (ODOT) has loopholeegineered itself absolute permanent sovereign immunity to hack ADAS and AV users at will or accidently, hacking is hacking regardless of intent, on any Ohio interstate, highway road, street, detour, speed trap, intersection, crosswalk, crash trap, railroad crossing, curb bulb, school zone and anti-human traffic calming infrastructure with vision-based ADAS/AV glitches, visual illusions ala’ speed trap, hacker crashes and poisoned GPS failures such as ODOT used during the political selfishness insanity of Ohio House District 83’s year-long “U.S.68 Detourgate” votervengence debacle with no PID# last year.

The solution is obvious and costs nothing- federal taxchattle dollars already funded the creation of USDOT’s MUTCD Part 5 ADAS and AV safety standards years ago, but it seems a group of law-school alumni including ambulance chasers, Ohio radium readymix rinos, green government loophole lawyers and zany USDOT reality TV stars STOLE it from ALL of us…
