+   Dave Pericak will step down as the director of Ford Performance effective Dec. 1 to return to production cars as Ford’s Engineering Director for Unibody Vehicles. More at Road & Track. 

+   Six months before it goes on sale in the United States, Volvo is providing extensive details on its XC40 compact SUV, including a base price of $35,200. More at the Detroit Free Press. 

 BMW disclosed that European Commission staff conducted an inspection at company offices in Munich in connection with the ongoing diesel emissions scandal. More at The Detroit News.
