+  In response to deadly flooding in the region that forced the evacuation of thousands, Formula 1 officials cancelled this this weekend’s Emilia-Romagna Grand Prix in northern Italy. More at AP News. 

+   At Tesla’s annual shareholder meeting, CEO Elon Musk said the Cybertruck will enter production this year and that the automaker may try some advertising for the first time. More at CNBC.

+  The AACA Museum in Hershey, Pennsylvania will host a 75th anniversary celebration for the Tucker 48 on June16-18 with eight original Tucker automobiles and distinguished guests. More at Old Cars. 

+   The U.S. verstion of the Volkswagen ID.Buzz battery-electric minibus will debut on June 2 with a standard third-row seat, but it won’t actually appear in showrooms until 2024. More at Motor Authority. 

+   The Rimac Nevera, a Croatia-built electric hypercar with four motors producing 1,813 hp, has claimed 23 performance records including a quarter-mile time of 8.25 seconds. More at Car and Driver. 

+   Automakers would be required to continue to include AM radio in their vehicles under a new bipartisan, bicameral bill introduced in Congress, with public safety cited as the concern. More at The Verge. 

+   Chip Ganassi Racing will send its IMSA-spec Cadillac prototype to Le Mans to replace its WEC Cadillac severely damaged in a crash at Spa, converting it to Le Mans configuration. More at Sportscar365.
