+   Mike Manley, chief of Fiat Chrysler Automobiles’ Jeep brand, says that despite a deliberate cutback in fleet deliveries, annual sales in 2017 will be equal to or greater than last year. More at Retuers.

+   Italian police have arrested 34 people connected to a local drug gang that was allegedly planning to steal and ransom the remains of automaker and national hero Enzo Ferrari. More at CNBC. 

+   British insurance adjusters have calculated the total vehicle damages in the first seven Fast and the Furious movies at more than $500 million, with Furious 7 ringing up the most carnage. More at Autoblog.

  1. 30 cars is about half the display space at the IMS museum. The Foyt exhibit will be major.
