Tesla, Inc. will produce a pickup truck at some point in the future, says CEO and company founder Elon Musk, adding that he was “dying to build it.” More at USA Today. 

+   New car sales in the United States in December will be down nearly 7 percent from a year ago when they are reported next week, Kelley Blue Book estimates. More at the Detroit Free Press. 

+   In partnership with Porsche Cars North America, the Petersen Automotive Museum in Los Angeles will host an exhibit of significant Porsche models entitled The Porsche Effect. More at Hemmings Daily.
