Greenfield Village Motor Muster 2014

1948 Ford F-1 Pickup Jeffrey WeichartPresenting one of the Motor City’s most popular car shows: the annual Motor Muster at Greenfield Village. Here’s a photo tour of this year’s event.

As we’ve often mentioned here at Mac’s Motor City Garage, Greenfield Village in Dearborn, Michigan is the perfect venue for a vintage car show: picture-postcard setting, acres of green lawns for car display, and village streets just made for parading and pass in review.

Henry Ford’s historical theme park hosts two major collector car events each year: the Old Car Festival on Labor Day weekend for vehicles built before 1933, and the Motor Muster on Father’s Day weekend for vehicles produced between 1933 and 1976. (For more info, visit The Henry Ford’s Motor Muster page.) The Motor Muster always hosts an impressive variety of vehicles: domestics and imports, cars and trucks, fire and military vehicles.  We weren’t able to stick around for the entire weekend’s festivities, but here’s what we saw during our too-brief visit on Saturday. Gallery below.

  1. A DIVCO and a 68 VW and to top it off an MG–two cars I owned (ok, it was a 69 VW) and the truck that got me through college. Thanks Bill
