Cars and stars — a photo essay

Beause people like interesting cars and they like interesting people, here’s a giant photo gallery featuring both.

This photo essay doesn’t require much explanation. Here at Mac’s Motor City Garage, we’ve somehow managed to collect a large assortment of images of celebrities from every walk of life.  The only feature these photos of famous people share: they include  automobiles. Please enjoy.

    • I didn’t know Mr. Ed’s real name.

…Jinx Falkenburg and her husband Tex McCrary did a NYC radio show that was a predecessor to the TV morning shows like Today.

  1. I agree with Kos. Stars look more impressive when they’re standing next to big iron. That photo of DeLorean made the Firebird look tiny and inconsequential.

Marilyn Monroe never did much for me but that photo of her and the Pontiac really works!

They don’t make ’em like that anymore. Sigh…

  2. Same thoughts about Monroe here, the bikini photo was an eye-catcher. Two of my favourite cars in here, both Jags – the XKSS and XK120. Beautiful machines.
