Like we said, it’s on. There were miles of great cars already on the scene at Woodward and 13 Mile on Thursday as the Motor City prepares for Saturday’s 2013 Dream Cruise. 

This fine bunch of vehicles was captured cruising the Woodward and 13 Mile area on Thursday afternoon and into the early evening. By this time, thousands of spectators  had had already set up their sun canopies and lawn chairs to take in the rolling car show. This corner in Royal Oak is prime territory for cruising and viewing along the 20-mile cruise route.

Woodward and 13 Mile is also the traditional home of the Chrysler corporate display. The Mopar crew takes over most of the parking lot of the Northland Shopping Center at the southwest corner and fills it with vintage Chrysler vehicles from the company’s historical collection, as well as the latest concepts and show cars. It’s a great little show in itself. You’ll find an assortment of these cars. along with a little  bit of everything that was cruising the avenue last night, in the gallery below.
