Yes, after nearly a century, clay modeling is still a key element in the styling process. It hasn’t been pushed aside by more recent technologies. Instead, the new tools and resources—CNC milling, CFD, FEA, wind tunnels, 3D printing, Virtual Reality—are combined with clay modeling to keep the process vital and useful.
