The Shelby Dodge Automobile Club rolled into Auburn Hills, Michigan for its 2012 national meet, and Motor City Garage was there to check it out. 

MCG has tons of regard for single-marque car clubs like the Shelby Dodge group. They provide a home base for like-minded people to gather and share their parts, info, and enthusiasm. Rare and unusual cars like the Shelby Dodges would be even more difficult to keep on the road without their support, maybe even impossible. SDAC and other single-marque clubs go a long way in keeping the cars and the history alive.

SDAC-22 (22nd annual, we take that to mean) was planned with plenty for everyone: an autocross on Saturday in the parking lot of the Pontiac SIlverdome; a car show on Sunday in front of the Walter P. Chrysler Museum; a “fun run road rally” on Monday; drag racing at Milan Dragway on Tuesday, followed by an awards program and wrap party on Tusday night.
