It’s on. Dream Cruise week is here.  

The 2013 Woodward Dream Cruise will officially roll on Saturday, August 17. But really, the show is already on the road. The Detroit area will be hopping all week with car-related events and activities. Woodward is one of the largest automotive happenings in the world, running a good part of the avenue—Michigan Route 1—from 8 Mile Road in Ferndale north to the city of Pontiac. Officials estimate there are somewhere around 50,000 participant vehicles and an estimated one million spectators. Beyond that, mere words and statistics fail to paint the picture. You have to see it for yourself.
