+   Former Ferrari North America CEO Maurizio Parlato has pleaded guilty to taking $2.8 million in kickbacks in exchange for highly desirable exotic car allocations. More at The Drive. 

+   Nissan says it has developed a new process for manufacturing parts in carbon fiber reinforced plastic (CFRP) that reduces the molding times from hours to two minutes. More at Autoblog. 

 Fiat Chrysler Automobiles has introduced the Jeep Wrangler 4xe plug-in hybrid, which offers 375 combined gas/electric horsepower and electric-only range of 25 miles. More at The Detroit News. 

 Renault has confirmed that its Formula 1 team will be rebranded under the Alpine name for the 2021 season, but the engines will continue to wear the Renault badge. More at Autosport. 

+   Volkswagen labor chief Bernd Osterloh has ruled out a four-day work week as a job-saving measure, rebuffing a proposal from Germany’s largest trade union, IG Metall  More at Reuters.

 Aston Martin has unveiled the Victor, a carbon-fiber-bodied one-off based on the company’s One-77 supercar from 2011 and powered by a 848-hp V12. More at Car and Driver. 

 Organizers of the Los Angeles Auto Show have rescheduled the event from November 18-29 to the week of May 21, 2021 in response to the COVID-19 outbreak. More at CNET Roadshow. 

+   Germain Racing may be for sale after the NASCAR Cup team learned that title sponsor Geico Insurance will not be renewing its deal at the end of the year. More at Jayski. 

 Dodge has expanded its Challenger Widebody lineup for 2021 to include an R/T Scat Pack Shaker and a T/A 392, while the three existing models will be continued. More at Motor Trend.
