+   Porsche will stop offering diesel versions of its cars to sharpen its focus on hybrid and battery-powered vehicles, announced chief executive Oliver Blume. More at Reuters.

 General Motors has realigned its global strategy and electric vehicle teams, with Pamela Fletcher, who led the Chevy Bolt program, promoted to Vice President of Innovation. More at The Detroit News. 

 Leaked documents from Mazda Canada posted to an internet forum indicate that the CX-5 compact crossover will be available with a turbocharged 2.5-liter four in 2019. More at Motor Trend.
