  1. European Union and climate policy.
    When did automobiles start emitting carbon DI-oxide ?

    • The chief exhaust products of combustion are H2O and CO2. Every gallon of gasoline consumed creates around 20 lbs of CO2, carbon dioxide (carbon + oxygen). Thus automobile emissions are a major producer of CO2, a greenhouse gas responsible for climate change, i.e. global warming.

      • Thanks MCG, you sent me to Google for a deep search. I always knew about the carbon monoxide and I always thought the chief culprit in auto exhaust was NOX. I learned something today.

  2. NASCAR is dying a slow painful death. Too much micro-managing every aspect. Too hard to keep up with it anymore, fans are giving up and leaving.

    And global warming or climate change is a natural phenomena. Man has nothing to do with it, and can’t change it no matter how they try. The climate has been changing as long as this rock has been here, heat and cold cycles are normal. Remember back in the late 70’s everyone was saying we were going into another ice age? It’s all just a ruse to extract money and power from the masses. that’s my story, and I’m sticking to it….:}
