+   Panasonic has unveiled its prototype version of the previously announced 4680 battery cell from partner Tesla, which promises five times the energy at half the cost. More at Charged. 

 The popular Ford Bronco Sport has been hit with its fifth safety recall in one year, this time to correct a defect that could cause the moonroof to separate from the body. More at Autoblog. 

 The Bonhams online auction held in conjunction with the Greenwich Concours d’Elegance in Connecticut reported $4.3 milllion in sales and a 96 percent sell-through rate. More at ClassicCars.com Journal.
