+   Following the Chinese Grand Prix, Ferarri drivers Charles Leclerc in fifth place and Lewis Hamiltion in sixth were disqualified when their cars failed post-race inspection. More at The Guardian. 

 Stellantis is now offering buyout packages to UAW-represented hourly employees in its Detroit and Toledo production facilities as part of its broader cost-cutting strategy. More at CBT News. 

 Toyota’s Hino Motors truck division pleaded guilty to an emissions fraud scheme in the United States and must pay $1.6 billion in penalties, the U.S. Justice Department said. More at World Auto Forum. 

+   Enthusiast Jay Leno is backing a proposed California bill to expand emissions exemptions to vehicles that are at least 35 years old and covered by collector car insurance. More at Car and Driver. 

 The Kenworth Truck Company announced that it is ending production of its famed W900 conventional semi-tractor, which entered the North American truck market in 1963. More at The Drive. 

 Volkswagen confirmed the 2025 Tiguan will cost $30,920 including a $1,425 destination fee when it arrives in the USA this summer, $615 more than the current Tiguan. More at Motor Authority.
