 Fueled by strong demand, U.S. new vehicle sales are expected to rise 12.1 percent in March, according to a joint report by industry consultants J.D. Power and GlobalData. More at Reuters.  

+   Ford is delaying its plans for a three-row electric SUV to work on a compact, affordable EV crossover that will be priced at $25,000 and scheduled for a late 2026 debut. More at Car and Driver. 

 A Consumer Reports survey of 11,000 members found that independent repair  shops and chains score higher than dealership service departments on honesty, quality, and cost. More at Autoblog. 

+   NASCAR has taken over the lease to historic Bowman Gray Stadium and will manage its racing operations for the City of Winston-Salem, North Carolina, through 2050. More at Winston-Salem Journal.

 This year’s Carlisle Spring Collector Car Auction on April 18-19 in Carlisle, Pennsylvania will feature more than 400 vehicles, including 1953 Corvette number 98. More at Old Cars.
