+   General Motors has announced that the next-generation 2016 Camaro will be unveiled in a public event on May 16 at Belle Isle Park in Detroit. More at MLive. 

+   Dodge has stopped taking orders for its hot-selling Charger and Challenger Hellcat models while the automaker sorts and validates the orders already in the system. More at Autoblog.

+   Scheduled for introduction on March 31, the new Cadillac CT6 flagship sedan will use extensive aluminum construction to save 300 lbs. over steel. More at Automobile.  

+   Volkswagen says it will discontinue slow-selling models, including the Polo two-door compact, and scale back equipment options in order to increase profitability. More at The Detroit News.
