Reportedly Musk fired Afshar. Surmised to be for the global 10% decline in deliveries end of this quarter (Forbes) and more significant 27.9% European drop as customers switch from Berlin-built Model Y’s to other brands, including Chinese. When queried if Afshar was to blame, Musk’s xAI Corp “Grok 3” responded : “Final Assessment: The buck stops with Elon Musk, whose strategic and reputational decisions have most significantly driven the European sales decline. …while external market shifts and prior leadership set the stage, Musk’s leadership style and choices are the central thread.”
