Like other readers here, I have memories of also owning cars with factory cassette tape players and even factory 8 track players. The only “upgraded” factory system I haven’t owned in a vehicle is a factory installed record player from the 50’s.
I don’t even want to think about the amount of money that I spent on the various types of recordings, as I would probably cry.
