My dad came home with a 1956 2.4 litre saloon purloined of the back lot at Harry May Chevrolet in Monroe Michigan in the mid 1960s. It changed my perspective on cars for better or worse. It was an absolute beater second car and I loved everything about it. The sound, smell and panache. I didn’t speak to him for a week once he sold it off.
I remember that dealership well, delivered parts there.
