 Fiat Chrysler Automobiles and the United Auto Workers have reached a tentative labor agreement that includes an additional $5.4 billion in plant investments. More at The Detroit News. 

+   According to an unnamed source in General Motors management, the automaker absorbs a financial loss on every 2020 Corvette that sells for less than $80,000. More at Motor Trend. 

+   Daimler will cut at least 10,000 jobs worldwide over the next three years in a campaign to cut costs and shift production assets from fossil fuel to electric vehicles. More at Automotive News Europe. 

+   In the Formula 1 season finale in Abu Dhabi, Ferrari was fined 50,000 EUR ($55,000 USD) for a fuel discrepancy, but driver Charles Leclerc was allowed to keep his third-place finish. More at ESPN.

+   Renault, Nissan, and Mitsubishi have agreed to form a new joint venture focused on the development of advanced automotive technologies, Kyodo News reported. More at Reuters. 

 An escalating legal battle between two rival South Korean battery manufacturers, SK Innovation and LG Chem, could potentially disrupt supplies for the global automakers. More at Autoblog.

 Volkswagen Motorsport announced that it discontinue all racing programs using internal combustion engines and focus all future efforts on electric vehicles. More at CNET Roadshow. 

 Cincinnatti area dealer Lebanon Ford, is offering a supercharged Mustang with 1,000 horsepower, Ford’s 10-speed automatic transmission, and a list price of $54,995. More at The Drive. 

+   Moonlighting NASCAR star Kyle Larson won the annual Turkey Night Grand Prix, his third victory in the famed midget racing event at Ventura Raceway in California. More at NBC Sports.
