  1. Ford Maverick – OH BOY, a 13.2 inch infotainment screen.
A much improved distraction to keep the driver from actually looking out the windshield where they might notice that pedestrian or bicyclist or semi-truck they are about to smash into.

    • Those screens should go dark as soon as a forward gear is engaged. Too much light, especially at night. Radios with actual knobs as well as HVAC controls that twist or slide are much more driver friendly that having to go through six screens just to adjust the AC or change a radio station is pure ridiculous stupidity that might start to clear out the gene pool a bit!

  2. Carsheild should have to pay that $10 million to the folks it scammed into buying their “ coverage”. I’ve got a friend who got snookered into buying that garbage on a used minivan she purchased. When the engine let go, Carsheild wouldn’t even pay the tow bill, much less repair or replace the engine. She lost thousands of dollars of value in that car, luckily she was able to work out a deal with a used car lot to take it in as a trade, they of course put in a used engine and made a killing off of it. At least she got out from under it without being upside down, but it was bad close.

Carsheild made something like $100 million dollars last year, so I guess they were happy to only have to give up 10% of that to keep on scamming, er, operating !
