Ken Lingenfelter Collection Open House for the Shades of Pink Foundation

Ken Lingenfelter opened the doors at his incredible car collection Saturday to benefit the Shades of Pink Foundation. Naturally, MCG was there.

Ken Lingenfelter’s open houses are quickly becoming a Motor City institution. Gearheads are treated to a rare glimpse of Ken’s otherwise private collection: a Bugatti Veyron, the original Corvette V8 development mule, a supercharged COPO Camaro, and over 120 more rare and desirable vehicles, from classic American muscle cars to the latest European exotics. This weekend’s event at Ken’s Brighton, Michigan facility featured food, music, and even a fashion show.

There’s no charge at the door. Guests are simply asked to donate what they can afford. Just know that it’s all in support of a worthy and important cause: the Shades of Pink Foundation, a local Michigan organization that provides financial support for women struggling with breast cancer. In 2012 the foundation provided over six figures in assistance toward rent, mortgage, and car payments, groceries, utility bills, and other critical needs. Support for this event also came from Brighton Harley Davidson, Impulse Clothing Boutique, Lolly Ella Jewelry and Mariposa Boutique.
